In the year 2002/ 2003 another candidate from Bachelor of Science in Education also joined the race and emerged the second among the 18 contestants. The Academic year 2003 /2004 were many contestants from School of Education that has given every body an impression that since other years education students have been emerging the second, this time the Guild president is from this faculty. Candidates were; Kalema Ali from Bsc Education, Ssemanda Alex Patrick, Byasi Vincent Lugonvu, Ssemambo Rashid, Mutebi Ronald, and Kiranda Yusuf, all from Bachelor of Arts with Education.
As the country is a multipartist, the ‘no change” slogan was heard from the supporters as the outgoing president Okema sided with another candidate from the UPC party. All students are entitled to engage themselves in the race excluding the first year students on the post of Guild president. In all the previous years, elections have been going on well and allow students to explode their views in politics of both their country and the institution.
